Dear Friend,
YOU NEED TO REEVALUATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP
When the people you’ve supported, loved, or invested in suddenly change their behavior toward you, don’t be too quick to take it personally. Just like a dog barking at its owner often means someone else has started feeding it, a shift in loyalty usually means another influence has stepped in.
Instead of wasting energy feeling betrayed or bitter, take it as a signal to re-evaluate the relationship. Ask yourself: Am I still adding value here? Has someone else taken the place I once held? Sometimes, it’s not about you losing worth—it’s about them choosing another source.
Be wise enough to discern when loyalties shift. Protect your heart, don’t fight for attention where it’s no longer valued, and never reduce yourself trying to compete with who or what is “feeding” them now. Invest your energy where loyalty, respect, and trust are mutual.
