*🪞 REFLECTION:*
One of the greatest proofs of wisdom is the ability to pause before speaking or acting. A wise person understands that words, once released, cannot be retrieved. Many broken relationships, missed opportunities, damaged reputations, and lifelong regrets began with a few careless words spoken in haste.
God desires His children to speak with understanding, grace, and discernment. Wisdom teaches us to think before responding, pray before deciding, and seek God’s direction before taking action. Silence is often more powerful than an unnecessary argument, and patience frequently prevents avoidable mistakes.
When emotions rise, wisdom says, “Wait.” When anger demands an immediate response, wisdom says, “Pray first.” When pride wants to defend itself, wisdom says, “Let God fight for you.” The Holy Spirit helps believers to control their tongue and speak words that heal instead of words that wound.
Every conversation should glorify God and edify people. Your words have the power to build or destroy, encourage or discourage, unite or divide. Therefore, let wisdom govern your thoughts before they become words, and let your words reflect the character of Christ.
Today, choose to become a person whose speech carries grace, truth, peace, and divine wisdom. Before every important decision, ask yourself: “Will my words produce life, peace, and God’s purpose?”

Father, according to Ecclesiastes 5:2, deliver me from speaking carelessly or acting impulsively. Baptize me with the wisdom that pauses before responding and seeks Your counsel before making decisions. Let the Holy Spirit become the Governor of my thoughts, emotions, and speech.
Lord, remove every spirit of haste, pride, anger, impatience, and foolishness that leads people into unnecessary troubles. Give me the grace to speak words filled with life, wisdom, favour, healing, and encouragement. Let every conversation I have today attract divine favour, preserve relationships, open doors of opportunities, and glorify Your holy name.
I declare that my tongue shall become an instrument of peace, truth, encouragement, and divine counsel. Every careless word that could bring regret is cancelled by the wisdom of God. “Will these words solve the problem or create another one?”

– Wisdom thinks before acting.
– Wisdom builds relationships instead of destroying them.
– Wisdom allows God to direct every conversation.
