THE FEAST OF INGATHERING
Exodus 23:16:
“Celebrate the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from the field.”
THANK HIM AS YOU ARE LED
The Feast of Ingathering, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot, is a biblical festival mentioned in the Old Testament. It is primarily a harvest celebration and a time of thanksgiving to God for His provision.
This verse emphasizes the Feast as a time to rejoice in the completion of the agricultural harvest.
I DECREE and DECLARE
My Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and reverence. Thank You for the gift of life, for Your unfailing love, and for the countless ways You provide for me daily. As I lift these prayers to You, I invite Your presence to fill my heart and guide my thoughts. Open my eyes to see Your hand in every season of my life and teach me to walk in obedience and trust. Lord, as I reflect on the truths of the Feast of Ingathering, may these prayers draw me closer to You, align my heart with Your purposes, and stir within me a deeper appreciation of Your faithfulness. Let my words honour You and my faith grow stronger as I commune with You in this moment.
In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
1) Prayer of Thanksgiving for God’s Provision
Heavenly Father, I stand in awe of Your goodness and faithfulness. Just as You sustained the Israelites with manna in the wilderness and blessed their harvests in the promised land, You have been my source of provision in every season of my life. When I faced lack, You provided abundantly; when I felt weak, You strengthened me. Lord, I thank You for meeting both my physical and spiritual needs. Let my heart never take Your blessings for granted. Instead, help me to live each day with an attitude of gratitude. May my thanksgiving be a constant offering of worship, reminding me that every good and perfect gift comes from You. In times of plenty and in times of scarcity, I will declare Your goodness and rejoice in Your unchanging faithfulness.
In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
2) Prayer for Dependence on God’s Sustenance
Lord Almighty, I acknowledge that my life is in Your hands. Just as the Israelites lived in temporary booths and depended on You for every need in the wilderness, I, too, surrender my life to Your care. Teach me, Lord, to depend on You in every area of my life—my health, my finances, my relationships, and my purpose. In a world filled with uncertainties, remind me that You are my refuge, my fortress, and my provider. Let me not lean on my own understanding or be consumed by fear, but walk boldly in faith, knowing that You will never leave me nor forsake me. Help me to live with the assurance that You hold my future, and as I dwell under Your shadow, I am safe. Strengthen my trust, Lord, and remind me daily that You are my everlasting sustenance. In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
3) Prayer for the Ingathering of Souls
Lord of the Harvest, I come before You with a heart burdened for the lost. Just as the Feast of Ingathering celebrated the gathering of crops, I pray for a mighty harvest of souls into Your Kingdom. You have called me to be a light in the darkness and a witness to Your truth. Lord, use me as an instrument of Your grace, compassion, and love. Open my eyes to the opportunities around me to share the gospel, and give me the boldness to speak the truth in love.
Let my life be a testimony of Your saving power, drawing others to the eternal hope found in Christ Jesus. I pray for a global awakening, that people from every nation, tribe, and tongue will come to worship You as the one true God. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord, and empower the Church to fulfill the Great Commission. May my words, actions, and prayers be a part of this divine ingathering of souls. In Jesus’ name, I ask for a harvest that glorifies You and brings eternal joy to all who come to know You.
In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
In Closing
Almighty God, I thank You for hearing my prayers and for the assurance that You are always near. As I conclude these moments of communion with You, I ask that Your Word and promises take root in my heart. Strengthen my faith to trust in Your provision, guide me to depend on You in every season, and empower me to be a vessel for the ingathering of souls into Your Kingdom. May my life continually reflect Your glory, and may I walk daily in the joy of Your presence. Seal these prayers with the power of Your Holy Spirit, and let Your Will be done in my life. I give You all the honour, praise, and thanksgiving, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
I cover all my prayers and my declarations and my decrees and my commands and my supplications and my petitions and my confessions and my thanksgiving by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for absolute performance.
TODAY’S PROPHECY
Thus Saith the Lord,
*1) My child, do not be afraid, for I am with you. I see your fears and uncertainties, but remember, courage is not the absence of fear—it is moving forward despite it. Fear may rise, but it does not define you. I have given you a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Lean on ME when you feel weak, and I will strengthen you. Just as I told Joshua to be strong and courageous because I was with him, I say the same to you. Take steps of faith, even when your heart trembles, trusting in MY promises and presence. Fear is not meant to paralyze you but to teach you to rely on ME. I AM your shield and strength, and each act of courage draws you closer to who I created you to be. You are not alone—I will never leave nor forsake you. Trust ME and let MY courage fill your heart.”
