Month: Rooted & Built-Up
Theme: BUILT FOR FULL REWARD

📖 Scripture Focus:
2 John 1:8 (KJV)
“Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.”

Beloved, the Word of God today brings a serious yet encouraging exhortation to every believer: God did not design your life to end in partial reward, but in full reward.

Heaven is a faithful record keeper. Every prayer you have prayed, every sacrifice you have made, every act of obedience, every moment of faithfulness in secret places is recorded before God. The Lord Himself is the One who rewards His people.

However, the scripture gives us a very important warning:
“Look to yourselves…”

This is a call to spiritual vigilance.

Many people start well in their walk with God, but somewhere along the journey they allow distractions, compromise, spiritual fatigue, pride, offense, or carelessness to weaken their commitment. When this happens, the enemy cannot erase what they have done, but he can attempt to reduce their reward.

That is why the Apostle John warns believers to guard what they have built.

Your years of prayer must not end in regret.

Your years of sacrifice must not end in disappointment.

Your years of faithfulness must not produce a reduced harvest.

The truth is this: Consistency preserves reward, while compromise reduces it.

A tree that is deeply rooted will survive storms and still bear fruit. In the same way, when your life is rooted in Christ and built up in His truth, nothing can steal the reward that God has prepared for you.

The devil may try to discourage you. He may try to distract you. He may try to tempt you to slow down or give up. But today the Spirit of God is reminding you:

Do not lose what you have labored for.

The prayer you prayed yesterday is building something in your future.

The sacrifice you made in obedience is preparing a harvest.

The service you render to God is building a crown of reward.

Therefore, remain steadfast.

Remain faithful.

Remain spiritually alert.

Do not allow temporary challenges to make you abandon eternal rewards.

The Bible says in Galatians 6:9 (KJV):
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Your due season will surely come.

Your harvest will surely appear.

Your reward will surely be complete.

And by the grace of God, your life will not end with the story: “He started well but did not finish well.”

Instead, your testimony shall be this:

You remained rooted.
You stayed faithful.
You finished strong.
And you received your full reward.

May the Lord preserve you, strengthen you, and keep you consistent until the day your reward is complete.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🔥
