πΏ Title: ROOTED IN LOVE
(Month of Rooted & Built-Up)
π Ephesians 3:17 (KJV)
> βThat Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.β
Beloved, spiritual growth is not accidental β it is rooted.
A tree does not become strong because it is visible; it becomes strong because it is deeply rooted. In the same way, your public strength is determined by your private foundation. And according to Scripture, that foundation must be love.
Paul did not pray first for power.
He did not pray first for prosperity.
He prayed that believers would be rooted and grounded in love.
Why?
Because love is the soil where divine destiny grows safely.
If your life is not rooted in love, success can corrupt you. Influence can harden you. Authority can isolate you. But when love is your foundation, promotion will not destroy you.
To be rooted in love means:
You forgive quickly.
You refuse to live in offense.
You choose peace over pride.
You respond, not react.
Many believers are gifted but unstable.
Anointed but easily offended.
Called but emotionally fragile.
The reason is simple β their roots are shallow.
Bitterness is a spiritual termite. It eats silently but destroys deeply. If resentment remains in the heart, it will eventually show up in behavior. And what is buried in the heart will manifest in destiny.
Hear this clearly:
You cannot be built up spiritually if you are not first rooted in love.
Love stabilizes you. Love matures you. Love protects your future.
When you are rooted in love:
You will not sabotage relationships.
You will not lose opportunities through pride.
You will not react out of wounded ego.
You will not allow past hurts to define present decisions.
Love does not mean you lack discernment.
Love does not mean you remove boundaries.
Love means you remove bitterness.
Christ dwelling in your heart is not emotional religion β it is transformational reality. When He truly dwells within you, His nature becomes your nature. And God is love.
If you dwell in love, you dwell in God.
And when God dwells in you, stability becomes your testimony.
In this season of being Rooted and Built-Up, the Holy Spirit is calling you to examine your foundation:
Is there unresolved anger?
Is there hidden jealousy?
Is there quiet resentment?
Is there pride resisting reconciliation?
Let it go.
Release it.
Uproot it.
Because your next level requires a purified heart.
You are not called to be reactive β you are called to be reflective of Christ.
Let love become your default. Let mercy become your language. Let forgiveness become your strength.
And as you do, you will discover something powerful:
Storms may come, but you will not fall.
Offenses may arise, but you will not collapse.
Challenges may shake others, but you will remain standing.
Why?
Because you are rooted. You are grounded. You are built up in love.
And love never fails.
