My Counsel: ADVICE ON STARTING AFRESH
If you are starting afresh, understand this clearly: you are standing at a moment of opportunity, not disadvantage. A new beginning is not proof that you failed; it is proof that God is giving you another chance to do better, stronger, and wiser.
Do not approach this new start with fear or low expectations because of past experiences. What happened before should inform you, not imprison you. Carry the lessons, but drop the disappointment. The starting point is where direction is reset and strength is renewed.
From the very beginning, set your expectations high—but keep them anchored in God. Decide early what you will no longer tolerate and what you will intentionally pursue. Pray before you act. Plan before you move. Speak positively from day one, because beginnings respond to declarations.
Avoid the temptation to rush. Starting afresh does not mean starting carelessly. Take deliberate steps, remain disciplined, and stay consistent. Small, faithful actions at the beginning often determine great outcomes later.
Most importantly, believe that God can do more with your new beginning than you ever imagined. Treat this fresh start as sacred. Guard it with prayer, nurture it with obedience, and fuel it with expectation. If you do, this starting point will not just lead to change—it will lead to tangible evidence of God’s favor in your life.
