GIVING IS LIVING:
My dear friend,
Don’t wait until you feel like giving before you do. Learn to plan your giving and make it a part of your worship. When the Bible says, “Lay aside an offering at the beginning of every week,” it’s not just talking about money — it’s teaching a principle of order, gratitude, and consistency in your relationship with God.
Start each week by setting something aside for God, no matter how small. It’s your way of saying, “Lord, I remember You first. You are the source of all I have.” When you put God first in your giving, He puts you first in His blessings.
Many people only give when they are emotionally moved or when a special collection is raised. But true maturity in the faith means you plan your giving, not react to it. When you regularly set aside something for the Lord, you’re showing Him that your love is steady, not occasional. You’re also keeping your heart free from greed and forgetfulness.
God doesn’t bless impulsive giving; He blesses intentional giving done in faith and love. So, decide now that every week, you will honor God with a portion of what He’s given you. Even if it’s little, be faithful — because faithfulness in little opens the door to abundance.
Remember, giving is not a loss; it’s a seed. Every offering laid aside in obedience becomes a harvest waiting for you in due season. So give regularly, give joyfully, and give with purpose — and watch how God orders your finances, multiplies your resources, and keeps your life overflowing with His goodness.
