Title: GOD WILL EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS
Scripture Reference: Ephesians 3:20 – “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
Beloved, God is not limited by our imagination, our resources, or our requests. He is the Almighty, the All-Sufficient One, and the God of limitless possibilities. Many times, we pray with the boundaries of our needs, but God answers with the measure of His greatness. That is why Paul declared that God is able to do “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.”
When Abraham expected just a child, God promised him nations. When the widow of Zarephath expected her last meal to be her end, God multiplied her resources until the famine was over. When the disciples expected Jesus to calm the storm, He not only calmed it but took them safely to the other side. When Peter expected a coin from men, God arranged a coin from the mouth of a fish. Over and over again, God has proved that He exceeds human expectations.
This month of Great Expectations and Performances, do not limit God with small thinking or low expectations. Lift your faith higher. Dream bigger. Ask bolder. Believe stronger. For your God specializes in doing what eyes have not seen, what ears have not heard, and what has not even entered the heart of man.
Your part is to believe and to expect; God’s part is to perform and to exceed. Let your confidence rest not in what you can do, but in what He can do through you. Get ready, because the testimonies that will break forth in your life will be more than you ever prayed for, faster than you ever imagined, and greater than you ever conceived.
Truly, your God will exceed your expectations.
