MONTH OF WISDOM
—
Theme: Wisdom For Conflict Resolution
—
*REFLECTION:*
Conflict is a part of life, but how we handle it reveals the level of wisdom operating within us. God’s Word shows us that pride fuels contention, while humility and wise counsel bring resolution. It is easy to react emotionally, to defend our egos, or to repay hurt with hurt. However, divine wisdom teaches us to rise above offense and walk in love. Sometimes peace requires silence, other times it calls for brave conversations rooted in truth and grace. Whether the conflict is internal, relational, or circumstantial, God offers us wisdom that brings healing, restores broken bridges, and strengthens relationships. In this month of wisdom, may we be guided by the Holy Spirit in every area where peace has been threatened, and may we choose to be channels of reconciliation and grace.

*THANK HIM AS YOU ARE LED:*

*I DECREE and DECLARE:*
*OPENING PRAYER*
My Dear Heavenly Father,
I honour You as the God of peace, the Father of mercies, and the Source of all wisdom. Thank You for this sacred moment to seek Your face in this month of wisdom. You have called me to walk not in strife, but in the beauty of holiness, humility, and love. Today, I ask for the grace to grow in divine wisdom concerning every conflict or tension in my life. Teach me Your ways, O Lord. Train my spirit to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Let the oil of peace flow from my heart, and let the words of my mouth minister healing. Transform me from within and make me a true peacemaker. I yield my will to Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer 1) *WISDOM TO SEEK PEACE, NOT REVENGE*
*Scripture:*
“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”
— Romans 12:17–18 (KJV)
*Prayer:*
O Lord my God, I bring before You every pain and offense I have experienced—those that still sting in my heart and those buried deep in my memory. I confess that sometimes I want justice, not reconciliation; I want vindication, not peace. But today I lay down my desire for revenge. I choose peace. I ask You, Father, to pour Your wisdom into my heart so that I may respond to hurt with compassion and not retaliation. Let Your love disarm the anger in me.
Help me to see others through Your eyes and not my pain. Even when it seems unjust, give me the strength to take the higher road—the road of peace and forgiveness. Let wisdom teach me to disengage from arguments that lead nowhere. Teach me the maturity of silence and the nobility of walking away when necessary. Let Your Spirit be my restraint and my counselor.
I pray for the grace to forgive even when I don’t receive an apology, and to pray for those who persecute me, just as Jesus did. Father, let me be an agent of Your peace. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Prayer 2) *WISDOM TO RECONCILE WITH A HUMBLE HEART*
*Scripture:*
“Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.”
— Proverbs 13:10 (KJV)
*Prayer:*
Gracious Father, I acknowledge that many of my conflicts have been sustained by pride—either mine or another’s. Today, I humble myself before You. I refuse to let ego be my master. I ask for the wisdom that brings reconciliation, the strength to go low, and the grace to lay aside my rights in pursuit of peace. Lord, strip me of the need to always be right, to win debates, or to be justified in the eyes of others. Let me be known not for stubbornness, but for humility and godly wisdom.
Search me, Lord. If there is any offense I have caused knowingly or unknowingly, convict my heart and guide me to make it right. Help me to take the first step—to apologize, to listen, and to extend an olive branch. Let me not wait for others to change before I do what is right. Break the chains of unforgiveness that have kept relationships strained and cold.
Lord, teach me to value peace over pride, and unity over ego. Let my heart reflect the humility of Christ, who humbled Himself even to the death of the cross. Make me a living instrument of Your reconciliation, restoring bridges that have been broken and healing wounds that have festered for too long. I receive Your wisdom to reconcile with grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer 3) *WISDOM TO SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE*
*Scripture:*
“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” — Proverbs 15:1 (KJV)
“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.” — Ephesians 4:15 (KJV)
*Prayer:*
Lord Jesus, You are the Word made flesh, and Your words bring life, healing, and truth. I ask You today to touch my lips and tame my tongue. Fill my mouth with wisdom, and let my heart be anchored in love. I repent of every time I have used harsh, accusatory, or careless words that have intensified conflict. Forgive me for being quick to speak and slow to listen.
Now, I ask for grace to speak the truth—always—in love. Give me the courage to confront what needs to be addressed, not to provoke, but to heal and restore. Let my voice be calm when tensions rise, and may my tone carry Your peace. Teach me how to de-escalate anger through soft answers and Spirit-led responses.
Let Your wisdom govern my communication—whether I am speaking to a family member, friend, colleague, or even an adversary. Help me not to avoid conflict, but to address it in the right spirit and with the right words. Let my words bring clarity and peace, not confusion or division. Make me a channel of truth that transforms, corrects, and unites. In Jesus’ powerful name, Amen.

*CLOSING PRAYER*
Father of Peace and Fountain of Wisdom,
Thank You for the insights, healing, and divine truths I have received today. Thank You for making me wiser and more spiritually mature in dealing with conflict. I commit my heart to Your ways and my relationships to Your care. Let the wisdom from above—pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy—govern all my interactions. I declare that every wall of division is coming down and that the spirit of reconciliation is rising. Let the fruit of this PRAYING SCRIPTURES devotional be visible in my life. I choose wisdom. I choose peace. I choose love. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
—
I cover all my prayers and my declarations and my decrees and my supplications and my petitions and my confessions and my thanksgiving by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for absolute performance.
TODAY’S PROPHECY
Thus Saith the Lord,
*1) “MY Beloved Child, I see you. I know your thoughts, your struggles, and even the silent comparisons you sometimes make. But hear ME clearly today: You are not in a race against anyone else. I did not create you to compete with others—I created you to become the best version of who I made you to be.*
*Do not measure your worth by what others have achieved. Their path is not your path. Their pace is not your pace. You are on a divine journey, hand-crafted by ME, and every step you take—no matter how small—is progress in MY eyes.*
*I want you to compare yourself only to who you were yesterday. Did you trust ME a little more today? Did you choose love over anger? Did you pray when you felt anxious? Did you try again after failing? Then you are growing—and I AM pleased.*
*Stop looking sideways. Fix your eyes on ME.*
*Run your race with patience and joy. I have never asked you to be perfect—only faithful.*
*When you fall, I will lift you.*
*When you’re weary, I will strengthen you.*
*When you’re unsure, I will guide you.*
*Let ME remind you of MY Word:*
*“But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.” (Galatians 6:4 KJV)*
*“I will guide thee with mine eye.” (Psalm 32:8 KJV)*
*You are becoming who I created you to be—day by day, step by step. Keep going. I’M with you.*
*With everlasting love,*
*Your Father, God.”*
