Witnessing is not a casual activity—it’s a divine assignment. It’s more than handing out tracts or quoting verses. Soul winning is a partnership with the Holy Spirit to rescue the lost from darkness and lead them into the light of Christ. But this sacred task requires more than zeal; it demands wisdom from above.
Wisdom enables us to know what to say, how to say it, and when to say it. Without it, we may speak truth but miss the heart. We may carry passion but lack precision. We may have love but miss divine timing. That is why Proverbs says, “He that winneth souls is wise.” Soul winning is not guesswork—it’s spiritual warfare and must be handled with heavenly strategy.
Jesus modeled wisdom in every encounter—with Nicodemus at night, the woman at the well during the day, and Zacchaeus up in a tree. He knew what each person needed to hear. We must learn to do the same—not by human intellect but by spiritual discernment.
James 1:5 invites us to ask God for wisdom. Not just for career choices or crisis management, but for evangelism. Ask God for the right words, the right approach, and the right opportunities. Ask Him to help you read the heart behind the face, and discern the need behind the smile.
In these last days, the harvest is ripe, but the laborers must be equipped—not just with fire, but with wisdom. May you be one of those wise laborers who knows how to catch men for Christ—not with manipulation or debate, but with divine insight and love-led truth.
Go out with wisdom. Speak with power. Win souls with grace. And watch Heaven rejoice!
