Dear Friend,
HONORING AND SUPPORTING THOSE WHO SERVE YOU
I just wanted to lovingly share something important from God’s Word that speaks about honoring and supporting those who serve us spiritually.
In 1 Corinthians 9:11, Apostle Paul says:
“If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?”
This simply means that when someone pours into your life spiritually — through teaching, prayer, counsel, or leadership — it is only right and godly to respond with material or physical support, according to your ability.
It’s not about payment, but about partnership and honor. Just like a farmer expects a harvest from what he sows, ministers of the gospel are sustained through the love and generosity of those they serve.
Supporting God’s servants doesn’t just bless them — it also opens doors of blessing, favor, and increase in your own life. It’s a divine principle that still holds true today.
So, if there’s someone God has used to bless your spiritual journey — your pastor, mentor, or a ministry — consider sowing something back. A gift, an encouragement, or even consistent support can go a long way in strengthening the work of the Kingdom.
With love and grace,
