PURIFY MY HEART, O LORD

O Lord, my God, You are holy and pure, and I desire to walk closely with You. I come before You today with humility, recognizing that without Your cleansing, my heart cannot be pure. I acknowledge that sin, distractions, and the cares of this world sometimes creep into my heart, hindering my fellowship with You. But You are the God who purifies and renews, the One who washes away every stain of iniquity.
Father, I ask that You search my heart and remove anything that does not honour You. Uproot every thought, attitude, or desire that is displeasing to You. If there is any pride, selfishness, bitterness, unforgiveness, or impurity within me, let Your refining fire consume it. Wash me thoroughly with the precious blood of Jesus and make me whole again.
Lord, I do not want to be double-minded or unstable in my faith. I long for a heart that is steadfast and unwavering, fully devoted to You. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and let Your presence dwell in me richly. Renew my thoughts, align my desires with Yours, and let my life be a reflection of Your righteousness. May my walk with You grow deeper each day as I remain in Your presence.

Heavenly Father, I bow before You today, fully aware that my heart is not always right before You. Your Word says that the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked—who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9). But Lord, You know me inside and out; You see beyond what others see. You know my weaknesses, my struggles, and even the sins I may have justified or ignored. Today, I ask You to search me and reveal anything in me that is not aligned with Your Will.
Lord, if there are hidden sins lurking within me, bring them into the light. If there is any form of compromise, worldliness, or ungodly desires that I have entertained, I repent before You. Cleanse my heart, O God, and make me pure. Take away every stronghold of sin, every wrong habit, every negative thought pattern, and every attitude that does not glorify You.
