LORD, DRAW ME CLOSER TO YOU
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” *(James 4:8)*

*Explanation:*
A closer walk with God starts with a sincere desire to know Him more. When we draw near to Him, He responds by drawing near to us. Your focus pray is for a heart that longs for deeper intimacy with Him.
*I DECREE and DECLARE:*
My Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart of gratitude, acknowledging Your love, mercy, and faithfulness. Thank You for the gift of life and the privilege to walk with You. As I seek a deeper relationship with You this month, draw me closer, open my heart to Your voice, and transform me by Your Spirit. Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude, acknowledging Your faithfulness and love in my life. Thank You for the past months—Your protection, provision, mercy, and grace that have sustained me. Thank You for every victory, every challenge that strengthened me, and every lesson that drew me closer to You. Lord, I do not take Your goodness for granted, and I return all the glory to You.
As I step into this new month, I lay my life before You once again. I surrender my plans, my desires, and my ambitions at Your feet. Let this month be a turning point in my walk with You. Purge my heart of anything that hinders my closeness with You. Remove spiritual laziness, distractions, and anything that competes with my devotion to You. Lord, I desire to know You more, to love You deeply, and to walk in intimate fellowship with You.
Holy Spirit, I invite You to work in me and through me. Teach me to dwell in Your presence daily, to seek You above all else, and to make You my highest priority. Set my heart on fire for You, that I may hunger for Your Word, long for worship, and thirst for righteousness. This month, Lord, let there be undeniable evidence of my deeper walk with You. Let my life reflect Your glory and bring others into the knowledge of You.
I dedicate this month to You, Lord—lead me, guide me, and let Your perfect Will be done in my life.

2) *Prayer for a Deeper Hunger for God*

*Prayer:*
Father, I desire to know You more. I do not want to remain at the same spiritual level; I long for a deeper hunger for Your presence. Lord, stir up my spirit to thirst for You like never before. Let my soul crave the things of the Spirit more than the things of the world. Remove complacency, lukewarmness, and every form of distraction that keeps me from pursuing You wholeheartedly.
Holy Spirit, create a fresh appetite in me for Your Word. Let the Scriptures come alive in my heart every time I read them. Let me not just read for knowledge but for transformation. Give me an insatiable hunger to study, meditate, and apply Your Word daily. Let my heart burn with passion for You as I spend time in prayer and worship.
Lord, remove anything that weakens my desire for You—whether it be wrong associations, unhealthy habits, or misplaced priorities. Help me to discipline myself spiritually, to wake up early to seek You, and to spend quality time in Your presence. Let my hunger for You lead me into deeper revelations, fresh encounters, and a life filled with the Holy Spirit.
Jesus, draw me closer until I am completely lost in You. Let my thoughts, my desires, and my actions be aligned with Your Will. May my hunger for You become a testimony that draws others into Your kingdom. I surrender all to You, Lord—satisfy me with more of You! In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
3) *Prayer for Sensitivity to God’s Presence and Direction*

Heavenly Father, in this season of a closer walk with You, I ask for the grace to be more sensitive to Your presence and leading. Lord, I do not want to walk in my own understanding or make decisions based on my emotions; I desire to be led by Your Spirit in every aspect of my life. Open my ears to hear Your voice clearly, open my heart to discern Your instructions, and open my eyes to see the path You have set before me this month.
Holy Spirit, remove every spiritual blockage that hinders me from recognizing Your voice. Silence every noise of doubt, fear, and distraction that competes with Your divine leading. Give me the wisdom to know when to wait, when to move, and when to act according to Your perfect timing. Let my spirit be so in tune with You that I will no longer miss Your direction.
Lord, I ask that You order my steps daily. Let me not walk in error or make costly mistakes. Teach me to acknowledge You in all my ways, so that You can direct my paths. May I be sensitive to divine opportunities and avoid every trap of the enemy. Keep me from wrong relationships, business deals, and decisions that can derail me from Your purpose.
Father, I desire to walk in obedience to Your voice. When You speak, help me to respond immediately, without hesitation or doubt. Strengthen my faith to trust You, even when I don’t understand. Guide me by Your Spirit, and let me dwell in the safety of Your presence.
Lord, let this month be a defining moment in my life—a month where I grow in discernment, wisdom, and clarity of purpose. May I walk so closely with You that my life becomes a reflection of Your Will and glory. I surrender my ways to You; lead me, Lord, and I will follow. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
