WHEN YOU ARE OFFENDED

My dear friend,

I know how frustrating and painful certain situations can be, especially when someone offends or provokes you. It’s natural to want to react immediately, to defend yourself, or to express your anger. But I want to encourage you—before you respond in the heat of the moment, pause. Take a deep breath. Give yourself a moment to think.

A single moment of patience in a moment of anger can save you from a lifetime of regret. Harsh words spoken in anger can never be taken back, and rash decisions made in frustration can cause damage that takes years to repair. But when you choose patience, you give yourself time to respond with wisdom instead of emotion.

Remember, true strength is not in reacting but in restraining. Let peace, not anger, guide your actions, and you will look back with gratitude instead of regret. Trust that patience will always lead you to better outcomes. Stay calm, stay wise, and let God direct your response.

Sincerely
