Dear Friend,

My Counsel: CONFRONT THEM – IN LOVE

I understand that you are facing a situation where someone close to you needs correction. It’s never easy to confront someone, but true love sometimes requires it. However, the key is to do it in a way that builds rather than breaks.

Before addressing the issue, ask yourself: Is this something truly important? Is it a recurring pattern that could harm them or others? And most importantly, have you earned their trust to speak into their life? If the answer is yes, then approach them with love, not harshness.

Remember, “Love is not rude” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5)—so choose your words carefully. Don’t correct them to prove a point, but because you genuinely care about their well-being. They may not receive it well at first, but be patient. The right medicine may taste bitter, but it brings healing.

Finally, let go of any past offenses before speaking. A heart free from resentment speaks with grace, not judgment. Your goal should be to guide them back to the right path, not to make them feel condemned. When love leads the conversation, even the hardest truths can be received with grace.

I pray that God gives you the wisdom and strength to speak the truth in love and that your words bring transformation.

Blessings,
