Title: STABILITY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR; STANDING FIRM

Text: Psalm 125:1
> “They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.”

Beloved, in a year God has declared as the Year of Great Rewards, the greatest threat is not delay—it is instability. Many people pray for increase, open doors, and elevation, but few understand that only the established can retain what God gives.

The Scripture compares those who trust in the Lord to Mount Zion—not to grass, not to dust, not to clouds—but to a mountain. A mountain does not rush, panic, or relocate because of weather. It stands through seasons, storms, and time. That is God’s picture of your life when your trust is firmly rooted in Him.

Stability is not the absence of challenges; it is the presence of strong foundations. Storms will come, pressure will rise, and seasons will change—but those who trust the Lord remain unmoved. Many fall not because God failed them, but because they abandoned consistency, discipline, and obedience when the pressure increased.

This year, God is calling us away from emotional Christianity and into rooted faith. Faith that does not fluctuate with feelings. Faith that does not collapse because of delay. Faith that stands firm even when results are still forming.

Hear this clearly: rewards without stability become liabilities. Promotion without foundation leads to collapse. Speed without balance causes derailment. That is why God is more interested in establishing you than accelerating you. When God stabilizes a person, He protects their future.

Beloved, stand firm in your walk with God. Be consistent in prayer. Be rooted in the Word. Refuse to make rushed decisions under pressure. Do not trade your convictions for convenience. Do not abandon your assignment because of temporary discomfort.

Those who trust in the Lord are not moved by bad news, economic shifts, or human opinions. Their confidence is anchored in God. And when the year ends, they are still standing—stronger, wiser, and rewarded.

As you go through this year, make a conscious decision:
I will stand. I will remain. I will not be removed.

Because when the dust settles, it is not those who ran fastest that are celebrated—but those who stood firm and endured to the end.

May the Lord establish you.
May your roots go deeper than your storms.
And may your rewards remain intact, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
