Title: EVIDENCE OF OVERFLOW (Christmas Edition)

Beloved, overflow is not a promise for the future alone—it is a present reality for those who dwell under the care of the Shepherd. Psalm 23:5 does not say my cup was filled; it declares my cup runneth over. This means God’s intention for you is not survival, not management, and not barely-getting-by, but visible, undeniable surplus.

Overflow is the language of covenant. When the Lord becomes your Shepherd, He assumes responsibility for your supply. He does not lead you into famine; He prepares a table. He does not measure your portion with fear; He anoints your head with oil. Overflow is God’s way of announcing to you—and to those watching—that He is more than enough.

On this Christmas Day, we must remember that Jesus Himself is the evidence of overflow. Heaven did not send advice, angels, or reminders—it sent a Son. If God could give His best when humanity was undeserving, then your life cannot end in lack. The birth of Christ is proof that God specializes in excessive goodness. Christmas is not just celebration; it is confirmation that overflow is God’s nature.

However, overflow demands a shift in mindset. Many believers pray for abundance while thinking like survivors. You cannot receive overflow with a cup turned upside down by fear, doubt, or complaint. Thanksgiving positions your cup upright. Faith enlarges your cup. Obedience keeps your cup flowing. When you honor God as your Shepherd, you give Him permission to move you from need to surplus.

Understand this: overflow is not given for display alone; it is given for distribution. God blesses you so that others may encounter Him through you. Your overflow becomes someone else’s answer, encouragement, and proof that God is real. When your cup overflows, it spills into families, ministries, communities, and generations.

Therefore, rise today with holy confidence. Refuse to live beneath what Christ has purchased for you. As you celebrate Christmas, let your heart declare, Because Christ came, I will not run dry. Expect tangible evidences. Walk in gratitude. Live generously. And let your life boldly testify: The Lord is my Shepherd—and my cup overflows.
