Overflow is God’s signature response to covenant relationship. In Psalm 23, David did not pray for survival; he testified of surplus. Overflow means God has taken responsibility for your needs and moved you into a realm where supply exceeds demand. On this Christmas Day, we remember that Jesus Himself is Heaven’s overflow poured into the earth. If God could give His Son freely, then nothing good is withheld from you. Overflow is not arrogance; it is evidence that the Shepherd is present. When your cup overflows, it becomes proof that God is faithful, intentional, and generous.
