My Advice: WHEN YOU MEET HARDWORKING PEOPLE, ENCOURAGE THEM
Let me speak to you from both wisdom and love:
In this world, you will meet many people, but the most valuable among them are the hardworking ones. These are the people who wake up early, stay up late, give their best, and refuse to give up — even when nobody is clapping for them. When you meet such people, do not compete with them. Do not mock them. Do not ignore them. Encourage them.
Your encouragement may be the only reward they receive for their effort in that moment. A simple “Well done,” “Keep going,” or “I’m proud of you” can restore their strength and revive their hope.
Remember, you do not always know the weight they are carrying. You do not see the silent tears, the internal battles, or the sacrifices they are making. But when you encourage them, you stand in the place of God’s comfort. You become a source of strength in their journey.
Be careful not to become the type of person who discourages others with your words. Life has a way of turning tables. Today’s hardworking person could be tomorrow’s helper, leader, or open door in your life. Sow encouragement, and you will reap honour.
The Bible teaches: “Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up…” (1 Thessalonians 5:11). When you lift others, God lifts you. When you speak life into others, life will speak for you.
So I advise you today:
Walk with people who are diligent.
Speak life to their efforts.
Support their process.
Celebrate their progress — even when it is small.
Because the energy you give to encourage others is the very grace that will carry you when your own strength is low.
When you meet hardworking people, encourage them — and God will surround you with encouragement in your own season too.
