My Advice: CHOOSE HONESTY OVER PERFECTION IN FRIENDSHIP
Listen carefully โ not everyone in your life needs to be perfect, but everyone who is close to your heart must be honest.
Stop expecting people to be flawless. You will only end up disappointed. Every human being has weaknesses, blind spots, and imperfections. True friendship is not about finding a perfect person; it is about finding a real person.
But never, ever compromise on honesty.
A friend who cannot tell you the truth is not helping you grow. They may laugh with you, eat with you, celebrate with you, and still quietly mislead you. That kind of relationship is dangerous because it slowly damages your judgment, your confidence, and your future.
You do not need someone who agrees with everything you do. You need someone who loves you enough to correct you. A true friend will tell you when you are wrong, not embarrass you in public, but guide you in private. They will warn you when you are walking toward danger, not clap for you while you fall.
Allow people around you to be human โ donโt demand perfection. But set a strong standard for truth. If someone lies to you, hides things from you, or manipulates you, they are not protecting you; they are preparing you for hurt.
Surround yourself with people who are honest, even when it is uncomfortable. Those are the ones who care about your destiny, not just your feelings.
Imperfect friends are normal. Dishonest friends are dangerous.
Choose wisely.
