đź’ˇ MY ADVICE:
BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ENVY

My dear friend,
Be very careful about what and who you envy. Many of the things that appear glamorous from a distance are, in reality, heavy burdens up close. What you are admiring in someone else’s life may actually be what they are secretly praying to be delivered from.

That marriage you envy may be enduring deep conflict behind closed doors.
That job that looks prestigious may be draining its holder emotionally and spiritually.
That luxurious lifestyle you want to copy may be built on hidden debts, sleepless nights, or moral compromise.

You see, not everything that shines is gold. Some crowns are heavy with pain. Some successes come with sacrifices that you may not be willing—or even meant—to carry. That is why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 10:12, “They measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”

Instead of copying people blindly, seek understanding. Ask God to open your eyes to see the full picture. Learn from others’ principles, not just their appearance. Emulate their discipline, not their display. Discover what God wants you to do, not what everyone else seems to be doing.

God did not design you to be a copy; He created you to be a unique expression of His glory. If you spend your life imitating others, you may miss the purpose He crafted only for you.

So pause before you envy. Pray before you imitate. Discern before you desire.
Sometimes the thing you are rushing to copy is the very thing someone else is begging God to change.

Stay content, stay focused, and stay true to your own calling. When you allow God to build your life His way, what He gives you will fit you perfectly—no stress, no pretense, no regrets.

👉 Think about this:
Don’t envy someone’s picture; you don’t know the pain behind their pose.
Seek God’s plan for your life—it’s the only one that will ever truly satisfy you.
