*🔹 REFLECTION*
Temptation is a universal experience, one that no man or woman can claim to be entirely free from. It does not respect age, position, knowledge, or spiritual status—it comes to everyone. However, God in His mercy has given His children the assurance of escape and victory. This is why the Scripture reminds us that temptations are “common to man,” yet God is faithful. That means He is consistent, reliable, and trustworthy in ensuring that His children are not left helpless in moments of trial.
Temptations come in different forms—sometimes subtle, appealing to hidden desires or personal weaknesses, and at other times bold, confronting our faith directly. Yet the secret to overcoming lies not in our natural willpower, but in drawing upon the fresh power of the Holy Spirit daily. When we rely on God’s Word, remain prayerful, and keep our hearts sensitive to the Spirit’s promptings, we become empowered to detect the traps of the enemy and choose the path of escape that God provides.
Fresh power builds resilience, gives courage, and strengthens our spiritual backbone so that we can say No to sin and Yes to righteousness. It transforms our weaknesses into testimonies of God’s grace and turns trials into stepping stones for deeper intimacy with Christ. Living victoriously over temptation is possible—not by human effort alone, but by walking in the strength, grace, and faithfulness of God.

My Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of life and for Your abiding presence that sustains me. I acknowledge that apart from You, I can do nothing. Lord, in this month of Fresh Power, I present myself before You and ask that You clothe me with divine strength to resist every temptation that may come my way. Empower me to stand firm in Your Word, to discern the enemy’s devices, and to walk in the victory that Christ has already won for me. I declare that I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer 1️⃣) *PRAYER FOR STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS*
Lord, I confess that without You I am vulnerable and weak, but with You I am strong and unshakable. Fill me with fresh power to resist every temptation that seeks to pull me away from Your presence. Strengthen my spirit when my flesh wants to give in. Let Your grace overshadow every area of my weakness and convert it into strength for Your glory. When the enemy whispers lies into my heart, let Your truth roar louder within me. I decree that I will not fall into the snares of sin, but I will rise above them triumphantly. Father, sharpen my spiritual senses so that I may discern the traps of the enemy before I step into them. Let Your wisdom guide me and keep me alert in moments of decision. When temptation surrounds me, help me to see clearly the way of escape that You have already made available. Give me the courage to take that escape path quickly and decisively, without hesitation or compromise. Lord, deliver me from spiritual blindness, from careless living, and from dullness of heart. I declare that I will no longer be ignorant of the enemy’s devices, for by fresh power, I walk in divine discernment and victory.

Let every ungodly appetite within me be subdued by Your divine power. Empower me to walk in the Spirit continually, so that the flesh finds no room in me. I decree that sin shall not have dominion over me, because I am covered by the blood of Jesus and strengthened by His grace. I am strong in the Lord, walking in daily victory, and shining as a testimony of Your grace. As I go forth, let my life radiate holiness, purity, and righteousness to the glory of Your name.
