Title: THE GOD WHO CROWNS MY MONTH WITH GLORY
Beloved, as we stand on this 31st day of August, we are not just closing a calendar date—we are stepping into a divine moment of sealing and crowning. The God we serve is not a God of incompletion; He does not start what He cannot finish. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Whatever He begins, He perfects.
Psalm 65:11 declares, “Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.” This means that God not only gives us a beginning, but He also ensures that the ending carries His glory, His beauty, and His fullness. It is in His nature to finish well. And if He crowns the year with His goodness, then surely He crowns every month, every season, and every chapter of our lives.
This month of August was declared our month of Great Expectations and Performances. Expectation is the womb of manifestation, and performance is the seal of expectation. Whatever you expected, whatever you prayed for, whatever you believed God for in this month shall not be cut short. Even on this last day, God is still able to perform it. He can compress a thousand days of blessing into a single day. He can turn what looked impossible at the beginning into a glorious testimony at the end.
But hear this: the enemy fights hardest at the end because he knows that endings are sealings. He tries to abort blessings before they manifest, to frustrate expectations before they become testimonies. That is why you must rise on this last day of August and decree that nothing ordained for you will roll over to the enemy’s camp. No blessing will be wasted. No testimony will be swallowed. No expectation will be aborted.
Today, let your faith be alive. Believe God for the perfection of all things concerning you. Believe that this last day can still deliver your testimony. Believe that the God of suddenly can visit you before the midnight hour.
Beloved, God has reserved the best for the end. Just like at the wedding in Cana of Galilee, where the governor of the feast said, “You have kept the good wine until now” (John 2:10), God is saying to you today: “I have kept the crowning glory of this month until now.”
Therefore, as you close August, do not close in fear, do not close in disappointment, do not close in weariness. Close with praise. Close with faith. Close with thanksgiving. Close with declarations of victory. For the God who crowns the month with goodness will ensure that your August ends in glory and your September opens with greater glory.
