Never be afraid of losing people because of your honesty. If your truthfulness makes someone walk away, it simply means they were never meant to stay. Dishonesty may keep the wrong people close, but it will cost you your peace and your integrity.
Stand firm in honesty, because it’s better to be surrounded by a few who truly respect and value you than to be surrounded by many who only stay because of pretence. Remember, people who cannot handle your honesty don’t deserve your trust. So, don’t adjust your light to make others comfortable—shine in truth, and the right people will be drawn to you.
