My dear friend, let me encourage you: in everything you do, choose kindness first. Life will always give us reasons to be impatient, harsh, or indifferent, but the world around us is already heavy with pain and division. What people are truly starving for is not more criticism or comparison, but kindness.
Remember, kindness doesn’t cost you anything. A smile, a gentle word, a little patience, or even taking a moment to listen can completely change someone’s day—or even their life. You may not have riches to give, but you always have kindness to offer. And in the end, that is what people will remember most about you.
So, wherever you find yourself—at home, at work, or in church—place kindness above every other thing. Because in today’s world, it is the greatest gift you can give and the greatest legacy you can leave.
