Dear Friend,
THE POWER OF PERSPECTIVE
I want to lovingly encourage you with this truth:
“When you focus on problems, you’ll have more problems; when you focus on solutions, you’ll have more opportunities.”
I know life sometimes feels like a storm—there are bills, pressures, delays, disappointments, and setbacks. And it’s easy to get stuck thinking about what’s wrong, what’s missing, or who failed you. But the more you dwell on the problems, the bigger they become in your mind—and the harder it becomes to see a way out.
But here’s the shift that changes everything:
Don’t magnify the problem—magnify your perspective. Instead of asking, “Why me?” start asking, “What can I do now? What’s the next right step? How is God using this?”
A solution-focused mind attracts creativity, faith, helpers, and divine direction. You start to see options you didn’t know were there. You become hopeful, resilient, and positioned for opportunity.
Remember Joseph in the Bible? He faced betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment. If he had focused on his problems, he would have given up. But because he focused on being useful—interpreting dreams, serving faithfully—he found an opportunity that changed his life forever.
So I encourage you:
Don’t let your problems blind you to your possibilities. God is still at work. You are not stuck—you are being shaped. Fix your eyes on what can be done, not just what has gone wrong. And as you take steps of faith, doors will begin to open.
You’re stronger than you feel. Brighter days are ahead—stay solution-focused and watch God multiply your opportunities.
With faith and encouragement,
