Title: WISDOM IN WAITING ON GOD
In a world that thrives on instant gratification, waiting often feels like a punishment. But in the kingdom of God, waiting is not a delay tactic—it is a divine strategy. It is during these quiet, uncertain, and often uncomfortable seasons that God does His deepest work in us. The waiting room of God is not a place of abandonment; it is the workshop of wisdom.
Many great promises in Scripture came with a waiting period. Abraham waited for Isaac. Joseph waited in prison before the palace. David was anointed as king, yet waited years before ascending the throne. Even Jesus waited 30 years before beginning His ministry. Why? Because divine timing produces divine results.
Waiting on God is not about sitting idly; it is about resting actively—trusting, worshipping, learning, and discerning. It is in the waiting that your strength is renewed (Isaiah 40:31). It is in the waiting that your character is shaped. It is in the waiting that you learn to trust God’s heart when His hand seems still.
Sometimes, God withholds answers not because He wants to frustrate you, but because He is aligning circumstances, preparing you for what’s ahead, and protecting you from what you cannot yet see. That’s where wisdom steps in—the ability to see God’s purpose in the pause.
Beloved, don’t waste your waiting season with worry. Don’t allow impatience to push you out of purpose. Let wisdom anchor your heart. Wait in worship. Wait with expectation. Wait with discernment. God is never late. And when He moves, everything will make sense.
Divine delays are not denials—they are often the platforms for divine setups.
Keep trusting. Keep resting. Keep waiting—wisely.
