Dear Friend,

CONQUER ANXIETY

I know life can feel overwhelming at times. The pressures, uncertainties, and unexpected challenges can pile up and stir anxiety in your heart. But let me share a simple, yet powerful truth with you:

If you want to conquer anxiety, start counting your blessings instead of your troubles.

Yes, the problems may still be there—but when you begin to focus on what God has already done, on the things that are going right, your perspective shifts. Anxiety loses its grip when gratitude fills your heart.

Take a moment today—just pause—and list at least five things you’re grateful for. Think about the times God came through for you, the love around you, the strength you still have, the doors that did open, and the peace He gives freely. When you do this, you’re not denying the struggle—you’re reaffirming your hope.

Remember what Philippians 4:6–7 says:
“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God…” And the result? “The peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.”

You’re not alone. God sees you. And His peace is available—just on the other side of gratitude.

Be encouraged. Count your blessings. And let God’s peace rule your heart.

With hope,
Pastor/Counselor,
