*Reflection:*
Financial stewardship is not about how much we have but how wisely we use what we have. Scripture reminds us that the wise store up resources, while the foolish squander them. Honouring God with our substance, especially the first portion of our increase, invites divine favour into our finances. When wisdom guides our spending, saving, and giving, we not only avoid waste but also build a life that glorifies God and blesses others.

My Dear Heavenly Father, You are the Giver of every good and perfect gift. I thank You for the resources You have placed in my hands. As I seek wisdom this month, I ask that You open my heart and mind to understand how to manage money in a way that honours You. Teach me to be a faithful steward who multiplies resources and channels them into Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

1) *Prayer for Financial Discipline and Avoiding Waste:*
Lord my God, I come before You acknowledging that wisdom is the principal thing, even in financial matters. Your Word says that in the house of the wise there is treasure and oil, but a foolish man spends it all. Father, I refuse to walk in foolishness or financial carelessness. Break every habit of waste and mismanagement in my life. Teach me the discipline of budgeting, planning, and self-control. Give me eyes to see beyond the moment and into the future.
Help me not to be driven by the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, or the deceitfulness of riches. Let my heart not chase after what fades, but after Your eternal purposes. Show me how to preserve and multiply resources with godly wisdom. May I never consume today what is meant to sustain tomorrow. Cause me to understand the importance of diligence, delayed gratification, and contentment. By Your Spirit, align my heart with stewardship, not ownership, for all I have belongs to You. Let the oil and treasure of financial wisdom never dry up in my dwelling.

2) *Prayer to Honour God with My Finances:*
Father of Glory, I acknowledge You as the Source of every blessing in my life—material, spiritual, and eternal. Your Word instructs me to honour You with my substance and with the firstfruits of all my increase. Today, I bring my heart, my wallet, my work, and my worship before You. Teach me to always put You first, not just in words but in giving.
Let my tithes be a statement of trust, not a ritual; let my offerings be a reflection of gratitude, not obligation. Deliver me from the trap of mammon, and make me a faithful kingdom financier. May my resources flow into missions, mercy, ministry, and multiplication. Let my giving provoke open heavens, divine ideas, business breakthroughs, and financial favour. Use me, O Lord, to wipe tears, feed families, build churches, and advance the gospel through my finances.
Help me not to give sparingly or grudgingly, but cheerfully and bountifully. As I honour You with the first and best of all You bless me with, may my barns be filled with plenty, and my presses burst forth with new wine, just as Your Word promises. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

3) *Prayer for Financial Wisdom in Decision-Making:*
Ever-wise God, I humbly ask for Your divine wisdom in every financial decision I make. Let not my choices be based on emotions, assumptions, or worldly patterns, but on Your direction and discernment. Your Word says that the thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness, but of everyone that is hasty only to want. Father, deliver me from financial haste, debt traps, and unwise partnerships.
Breathe Your insight into my plans, and let Your Spirit govern my investments, savings, expenses, and income streams. Teach me the times and seasons for spending, sowing, and saving. Help me discern between needs and wants, priorities and distractions, truth and deception. Let Your Word be my compass and Your voice be my counsel.
Surround me with mentors and godly advisors who walk in integrity and financial prudence. Open my eyes to opportunities You have prepared and close every door that leads to loss. Establish me as a Joseph in my generation—wise in plenty and prudent in famine. May I not only be financially secure but also be a vessel through which You establish generational wealth and impact. I receive grace to think long-term and to build according to heavenly patterns. In Jesus’ powerful name, Amen.
