My dear friend,
ESCHEW BITTERNESS
I know you’re hurting, and I understand the weight you’re carrying. But let me gently encourage you: Never trust your tongue while your heart is bitter and sore. Keep quiet until you are healed.
Right now, your emotions are valid — the pain is real. But words spoken from a wounded heart can do more harm than good. They can damage relationships, misrepresent your true intentions, and leave regrets that healing alone can’t erase.
So take a step back. Breathe. Let God minister to your heart. Let time and truth settle your soul before you respond, confront, or speak out. In silence, there’s healing. In waiting, there’s wisdom. And when you do speak — from a place of healing — your words will carry life, not pain.
Guard your tongue during this season. Don’t let bitterness become your voice. Healing is coming — and when it does, your words will build, not break.
You are loved. You are heard. You will rise again — whole and wise.
