BEFORE YOU SPEAK
Dear Friend,
“I want to encourage you to take a moment before speaking when you’re feeling hurt or upset. It’s so easy to let emotions take the lead, but when your heart is bitter or sore, your words may not reflect the truth or love you want to express. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is keep quiet until you’ve healed. Allow yourself time to process the hurt, so when you do speak, your words will be thoughtful and healing, rather than reactive or damaging. Remember, Proverbs reminds us that a gentle answer turns away wrath (Proverbs 15:1). Let your words come from a place of peace, not pain.”
You are blessed,
Pastor. Wale-Rich Oladunjoye
