HELP ME WALK IN HUMILITY

“What does the Lord require of you but to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God?” *(Micah 6:8)*

*THANK HIM AS YOU ARE LED:*

*Explanation:*
Micah 6:8 reminds us that God desires a life of justice, mercy, and humility. Walking humbly with God means recognizing our dependence on Him rather than relying on our own strength. Humility attracts God’s favour, while pride and self-reliance push Him away (James 4:6). When we pray for humility, we acknowledge our need for His grace and guidance, positioning ourselves to receive His blessings. Ask God to help you reject pride and self-sufficiency so you can walk in obedience and favour with Him.

*I DECREE and DECLARE:*

My Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart open to Your truth. Thank You for the gift of life and the opportunity to walk closely with You. As I pray today, help me to surrender my heart, my will, and my ways to You. Fill me with humility, cleanse me of pride, and teach me to depend on You completely. Let my life reflect Your justice, mercy, and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

1) *Prayer for a Humble Heart that Delights God*

Heavenly Father, I come before You in reverence and awe, acknowledging that You alone are God, and I am nothing without You. I humble myself under Your mighty hand, recognizing that all I am and all I have come from Your grace. Lord, I ask that You search my heart and remove any form of pride, arrogance, or self-righteousness that may hinder my walk with You. Let my heart be tender and teachable, always yielding to Your wisdom and correction.

Father, I desire to walk in a way that pleases You—living justly, loving mercy, and humbly submitting to Your Will. Let my humility not be mere words, but a deep-seated posture of surrender to You. Help me to embrace humility in my thoughts, attitudes, and actions, so that I may reflect the character of Christ in all that I do. Lord, let my humility draw Your favour, and may I find joy in depending completely on You. Thank You for teaching me Your ways and drawing me closer to You.

In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

2) *Prayer Against Pride and Self-Sufficiency*

Mighty God, I acknowledge that without You, I am nothing. Forgive me for the times I have relied on my own strength, wisdom, and abilities instead of leaning on You. Your Word says in James 4:6 that You resist the proud but give grace to the humble. Lord, I don’t want to be resisted by You—I want to walk in Your grace and favour. Break every form of pride in my life—pride in my achievements, my knowledge, my status, or my self-sufficiency. Help me to recognize that my success is not by my power or might but by Your Spirit.

Father, strip away every thought and attitude that exalts itself above Your Will. Let my heart be surrendered to Your leading, acknowledging that You alone are my source. When I am tempted to take credit for what You have done, remind me that every good and perfect gift comes from You. Let my confidence not be in myself but in Christ, who strengthens me. I cast away every reliance on my own wisdom and choose to trust in You completely. Lord, make me humble before You so that I may experience the fullness of Your presence and blessings.

In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

3) *Prayer for Humility in Service and Relationships*

Father, You have called me to walk in love, to serve others selflessly, and to live in humility just as Christ did. Your Word says in Philippians 2:3-5 that I should do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit but in humility, value others above myself. Lord, teach me to serve with a pure heart, not seeking recognition, praise, or reward, but desiring only to bring glory to Your name.

Help me to be patient and gentle in my interactions with others, always considering their needs above my own. Remove any spirit of superiority, competition, or comparison from my heart. Let me be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, demonstrating humility in my words and actions. May my life be a reflection of Your love, bringing peace, unity, and encouragement to those around me.

Lord, I also pray for humility in leadership. Whether in my family, ministry, or workplace, let me lead by example, showing kindness, compassion, and a willingness to serve. Let my humility draw others to You, and may my actions inspire others to walk in the same spirit of love and grace. Thank You for the privilege to serve and for the strength to do so with humility and joy.

In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

*In Closing:*

Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayers. I trust that You are working in me, shaping my heart to walk in true humility before You. Help me to live each day in surrender, reflecting Your love and grace in all I do. May my life bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

I cover all my prayers and my declarations and my decrees and my commands and my supplications and my petitions and my confessions and my thanksgiving by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for absolute performance.

TODAY’S PROPHECY
Thus Saith the Lord,

*1) “Be Careful How You Treat People. Listen to MY words: how you treat others reflects the state of your heart and your relationship with ME. I created all people in MY image, and no one is insignificant in MY sight. When you look down on those who seem ordinary or powerless, you dishonor not just them, but ME.*

*Do not let pride or position deceive you. Life is unpredictable, and the person you disregard today may be the one I have appointed to help you tomorrow. I have warned in MY Word: “Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honours God” (Proverbs 14:31). When you mistreat others, you close doors of favour that I have opened for you. But when you walk in love, humility, and kindness, you position yourself for divine blessings.*

*Remember, I resist the proud but give grace to the humble. Let your heart be tender, your words be seasoned with grace, and your actions be guided by love. Treat people well, not because of what they can do for you, but because I see everything, and I will reward you accordingly. Honour those around you, and you will walk in MY favour.”*
