My Counsel: UNDERSTANDING CHRISTIANITY
Dear Beloved in Christ,
I want to remind you today that Christianity is not a spectator sport—you are not called to simply watch from the sidelines. You are a gladiator in the faith, not just a fan. God has placed a unique calling on your life, and He expects you to engage fully in His work, not just admire others who do.
The Christian journey requires active participation. Jesus calls us to take up our cross daily (Luke 9:23), fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12), and run the race with endurance (Hebrews 12:1-2). Sitting back and observing will not bring spiritual growth, breakthrough, or divine purpose. You must step into the arena—praying fervently, studying the Word, sharing the gospel, and standing firm against the enemy’s attacks.
Just as gladiators train and fight with determination, you must equip yourself with God’s armor (Ephesians 6:10-18) and remain steadfast in your faith. The church is not a place for mere entertainment or passive listening; it is a training ground for warriors who will impact the world for Christ.
Ask yourself: Am I fully engaged in my faith, or am I just watching from a distance? God is calling you to rise, take action, and fulfill your divine assignment. Be bold, be strong, and step forward in faith, knowing that victory is assured in Christ.
You are not a fan—you are a warrior!
Stay strong and keep pressing on.
In Christ’s love,
