My Counsel: EVERYBODY YOU SEE IS CARRYING A BURDEN
I want to remind you today that everyone you meet is carrying a burden you may not see. Life’s struggles are often hidden behind smiles, silence, or even harsh words. That is why kindness is so important—it costs nothing but can mean everything to someone in pain.
You never know how much a simple act of love, a gentle word, or even a patient response can impact a person’s heart. Your kindness could be the encouragement they desperately need, the reminder that they are not alone. As Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
So, no matter how people act toward you, choose kindness. Let your words heal, not hurt. Let your presence bring light, not sorrow. In doing so, you reflect God’s love and make the world a little brighter.
