Dear Friend,
I want to share a piece of advice that has guided me through challenging times: not everyone deserves to see your wounds. Life’s struggles can leave us vulnerable, and while it’s natural to seek support, it’s crucial to remember that not everyone has the right intentions.
Some people are like healers, holding a bandage to comfort and support you. They genuinely care about your well-being and will help you recover. But others, unfortunately, might bring salt and vinegar, either intentionally or unintentionally worsening your pain with criticism, gossip, or negativity.
Be discerning in whom you confide. Look for those who have shown empathy, understanding, and kindness in the past. Share your burdens with people who uplift you, guide you toward healing, and genuinely care for your peace.
Remember, your emotional and mental well-being is precious. Guard it wisely, and trust God to bring the right people into your life who will help, not hurt, your journey toward healing and restoration.
Sincerely
Wale-Rich
With care,
Wale-Rich Oladunjoye
