ENTERING INTO REST
Hebrews 4:9
“There remains, therefore, a rest for the people of God.”
THANK HIM AS YOU ARE LED
Just as Israel entered a new season after Passover, we pray to enter into God’s rest and fulfillment.
I DECREE and DECLARE
My Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with gratitude for the gift of life and the power of the Passover. As I pray, open my heart to receive Your rest, peace, and fulfillment. Let Your Word come alive in me and guide me into the fullness of Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer 1) Entering the Rest of God’s Peace
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the assurance of rest that remains for Your people as promised in Hebrews 4:9. You are the God of peace, and in this season of Passover, I come boldly before Your throne of grace to lay every worry, fear, and anxiety at Your feet. Father, I acknowledge that my striving cannot add value to my life, but Your grace is sufficient for me.
Lord, I ask for the strength to surrender fully to Your divine plan. I renounce the distractions that keep me from trusting in You, and I open my heart to receive the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your peace guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
In this season, may Your rest become a reality in every area of my life—my family, work, ministry, health, and relationships. By the blood of Jesus, I declare freedom from unrest and step into the serenity that comes from abiding in Your presence. I thank You because Your peace is not as the world gives, but it is eternal, sustaining, and powerful. Let my life become a testimony of resting in Your divine care.
In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
Prayer 2) Rest from Struggles and Labour
Lord God Almighty, You are the One who called Israel out of bondage and brought them into a land flowing with milk and honey. In this Passover season, I celebrate Your ability to deliver and establish Your people in rest. Today, I surrender to You every area of fruitless labour and unending struggles in my life.
Father, I ask for Your intervention in all situations that seem overwhelming or impossible. Your Word reminds me that there remains a rest for Your people, and I choose to align myself with this promise. Grant me supernatural ease and wisdom to navigate life’s challenges. As the Israelites walked into freedom, help me to walk out of every form of captivity—mental, emotional, financial, or spiritual.
Lord, I declare that I will no longer labour in vain or spin in circles without progress. Let this season be marked by Your supernatural rest, where I experience divine provision, peace, and fulfillment in every area of my life. Thank You for breaking the yoke of striving and bringing me into a season of restoration and abundance. I receive it with thanksgiving.
In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
Prayer 3) Rest in God’s Promises
Faithful and Covenant-Keeping God, I bless Your name because You never fail. Your Word declares in Hebrews 4:9 that there remains a rest for the people of God, and I boldly claim this rest today. In this month of Passover, I reflect on Your faithfulness to the Israelites when You brought them out of Egypt and fulfilled every promise You made to them.
Lord, I stand on the promises of Your Word and refuse to allow doubt, fear, or unbelief to rob me of the rest You have prepared for me. I release every burden and uncertainty to You, trusting that Your plans for me are good and not evil, to give me a future and a hope.
Father, I ask for the grace to wait on You with unwavering faith. Teach me to rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for my good, even when I cannot see it. Let my heart be steadfast, knowing that Your promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus.
As I celebrate the Passover, may my life be marked by the victory of rest—rest from anxiety, rest from striving, and rest from battles You have already won on my behalf. Let me dwell in Your presence, where there is fullness of joy, and let Your peace saturate every area of my life. Thank You for the fulfillment of Your promises and the rest I now enjoy through Jesus Christ, my Saviour and Redeemer. Amen.
*In Closing:*
Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayers and for the assurance of Your rest in my life. I trust in Your faithfulness and receive Your peace, joy, and victory. May Your name be glorified in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I cover all my prayers and my declarations and my decrees and my commands and my supplications and my petitions and my confessions and my thanksgiving by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for absolute performance.
TODAY’S PROPHECY
Thus Saith the Lord,
1) “My child, I see the mountains you wish to move, the dreams you hold in your heart, and the burdens you long to overcome. But know this: great victories are not achieved in a single moment. If you desire to move mountains tomorrow, you must begin by lifting stones today.
Take the small steps I have placed before you. Be faithful in the little tasks, for they prepare you for the greater ones. Trust ME, even when progress seems slow, for I AM working in you and through you. Each stone you lift—each prayer, each act of obedience, each moment of perseverance—is shaping you and paving the way for the breakthrough you seek.
Do not despise the days of small beginnings, for I delight in your efforts. Lean on ME for strength, for I AM your help and your guide. Remember, I AM the one who moves mountains, but I use your hands to lift the stones. Keep moving forward, step by step, and you will see MY faithfulness. The mountain will move in MY perfect time. Trust ME, and begin today.”
