ADVICE ON THE HEART OF GIVING
My dear friend,
When it comes to giving, always remember that the value of your gift is not determined by its size but by the attitude with which you give it. A small gift offered with a genuine smile, love, and kindness can mean far more than an extravagant gift given reluctantly or with a frown.
The act of giving is not just about meeting material needs; it is about uplifting the recipient’s spirit. When you give cheerfully, you convey a message of care, appreciation, and goodwill. Even if you feel your gift is small, when accompanied by a smile and a joyful heart, it carries a significance that cannot be measured in monetary terms.
On the other hand, giving grudgingly, no matter how much, may leave the recipient feeling uncomfortable or unwanted. This misses the true essence of giving, which is to bless and inspire.
So, when you give, let your heart lead the way. Be sincere, cheerful, and kind. Remember, the impact of a gift is often felt more deeply through the love it carries than through its material value. As the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:7, “God loves a cheerful giver.” Make your giving a reflection of your gratitude to God and a channel to bless others.
By giving with joy, no matter how small the gift, you spread love, build stronger relationships, and fulfill the deeper purpose of generosity.
Sincerely
