FORGIVENESS & FREEDOM

*Matthew 6:14-15*
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
– But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

THANK HIM AS YOU ARE LED

I DECREE and DECLARE

My Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heart open to Your presence and a deep desire to draw closer to You. Thank You for Your unfailing love, mercy, and forgiveness, which have been the foundation of my relationship with You. As I lift these prayers to You, I ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to align my thoughts, emotions, and will with Yours.

Lord, I acknowledge that forgiveness is both a command and a gift from You, and I desire to walk in the freedom that comes from obeying Your Word. Search my heart and reveal any hidden hurts, offenses, or grudges that may hinder my spiritual growth or block my connection with You. Father, I surrender it all to You now, trusting in Your power to heal, restore, and make me whole.

Let these prayers be a sweet fragrance before Your throne, and may they not only transform my life but also bring glory to Your name. Thank You for hearing me, for loving me, and for working in me both to will and to do Your good pleasure.

In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I have given thanks. Amen.

1) Prayer for a Heart of Forgiveness

Heavenly Father, I stand in awe of Your boundless mercy and grace. I thank You for the forgiveness You extended to me through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Lord, I recognize that forgiveness is not always easy, but I also know it is essential for my spiritual growth and relationship with You. Today, I bring before You every hurt, offense, and betrayal that I have experienced.

I acknowledge that I cannot forgive in my own strength, so I ask for the help of the Holy Spirit to soften my heart and teach me to let go. Lord, help me to see those who have hurt me through Your eyes, as individuals who need grace just as much as I do. Heal every wound in my heart caused by bitterness, resentment, and pain.

Father, I choose to obey Your Word and release every offender into Your hands. Let the freedom that comes from forgiveness flood my soul. Remind me daily that as I forgive others, You also forgive me, restoring our fellowship and aligning me with Your Will. I trust You to bring justice and healing in Your perfect way and time. Thank You, Lord, for the freedom I now receive in forgiving.

In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

2) Prayer for Freedom from the Bondage of Unforgiveness

Father Lord, I humbly come before Your throne, acknowledging that I have held on to offenses that have weighed down my soul. I confess that at times, the pain of betrayal and injustice has consumed me, leaving no room for peace and joy. I ask for Your forgiveness, Lord, for harboring unforgiveness in my heart and for allowing it to hinder my relationship with You and others.

Your Word declares that forgiveness is not optional but essential for my freedom and spiritual health. Therefore, I surrender every grudge, bitterness, and anger to You. I release every person who has wronged me, no matter how deep the offense. Lord, I renounce the lies of the enemy that tell me I must hold on to hurt for justice to prevail. Instead, I trust in Your perfect judgment and timing.

Holy Spirit, empower me to truly forgive from the heart and not just in words. Fill me with the peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that in forgiving, I am set free from the bondage of pain. I declare that the chains of unforgiveness are broken in my life, and I now walk in the liberty that Christ purchased for me. Thank You, Lord, for healing my heart and restoring my joy.

In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

3) Prayer for Restoration through Forgiveness

Merciful Father, I am deeply grateful for the unmerited forgiveness You continually show me. Your Word reminds me that as I forgive others, You will forgive me, and I long to walk in alignment with Your Will. Lord, I bring before You every broken relationship, every offense that has caused division, and every painful memory that hinders reconciliation.

I ask for Your divine intervention in my heart and the hearts of those I have offended or been offended by. Help me to humble myself, seek peace, and offer genuine forgiveness. Lord, teach me to let go of my pride, my need to be right, and my desire for retribution. Instead, let my actions and words reflect the love and mercy of Christ.

Father, where relationships have been severed, I pray for healing and restoration. I trust You to mend what is broken and to bring beauty out of ashes for me. Let forgiveness flow like a river in my life, bringing peace to my soul and glory to Your name. May my life be a living testimony of Your redeeming grace, and may others see Your love at work in me. Thank You for the restoration You are bringing as I walk in obedience to Your Word.

In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ I, pray. Amen.

In Closing:

Gracious and loving Father, I thank You for the time spent in Your presence, lifting up these prayers of forgiveness and freedom. I am deeply grateful for the assurance that You hear me and that Your grace is sufficient for every weakness in my life. Thank You for the work You are doing in my heart, breaking the chains of unforgiveness and restoring the joy of my salvation.

Lord, I trust that as I choose to walk in forgiveness, Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. I pray that the seeds of these prayers will bear fruit in my life and relationships, bringing healing, unity, and freedom.

As I go forth, help me to live as an ambassador of Your love, extending the same mercy and forgiveness I have received from You to others. May my life be a testimony of Your power to heal and restore. Thank You, Father, for the freedom and victory I now walk in, through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour. In His powerful name, I pray. Amen.

I cover all my prayers and my declarations and my decrees and my commands and my supplications and my petitions and my confessions and my thanksgiving by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for absolute performance.

TODAY’S PROPHECY
Thus Saith the Lord,

1) “MY beloved child, I see beyond your actions and examine the motives of your heart. While others may focus on outward appearances, I desire sincerity and humility within you. It’s not just what you do that matters, but why you do it—whether it’s driven by love for ME and others or by pride and self-righteousness. Remember, I resist the proud but give grace to the humble. Even good deeds lose value when they come from the wrong motives, as shown in the lives of the Israelites, Judas, and Saul. So, come to ME with an open heart, and let ME purify your intentions. Let your prayers, giving, and service flow from genuine love and a desire to glorify MY name. Trust ME, seek MY approval alone, and walk in humility. When your heart is right, your actions will bring ME glory, and you will experience MY peace and joy. I AM always with you and delight in a heart that seeks after ME.”
