FACING THOUGH TIMES

Dear friend,

When you’re facing tough times, it’s natural to wonder if you’ve done something wrong or if God is punishing you, but challenges don’t always come because of mistakes. Sometimes, they’re a part of following God’s direction. In Matthew 14:22, Jesus sent His disciples across the sea, and they encountered a storm—not due to disobedience, but because they were following His command. This story offers two lessons. First, obeying God doesn’t mean life will be storm-free. The disciples had just witnessed Jesus perform a miracle, but when a storm hit, they panicked, forgetting His power. Doing what’s right doesn’t guarantee an easy path, but God uses storms to deepen our faith. Second, fear is natural and doesn’t make you a failure; it simply reminds you of your dependence on God. Don’t let fear drive you from faith; instead, let it prompt you to trust God more, knowing He’s in control. Remember, you’re not alone in this storm. God is with you, and this trial can become a triumph as you trust Him to carry you through.

Sincerely,
